Fixpod accepts credit card payment (Visa and Mastercard) only for mail-in repairs through our
bank's payment gateway. If you cannot pay using credit card, please include an Australia Post
Money Order (no cheques) in with your device, and we will repair your device and return it as
soon as the repair has been completed. For walk-in repairs, we accept cash only. All customers
are provided with an emailed tax invoice after their repair has been completed.
Can I get a tax invoice before making payment?
Unfortunately our system only allows us to issue tax invoices after payment has been made.
My item has been fixed! How do I pay Fixpod?
Once you have received an email from us notifying that your repair has been completed,
please go to our website, log in to your customer page, and you will be redirected to our
bank's merchant facility. As soon as you make payment, our bank notifies us, and we
ensure that your repaired device is sent back to you as quickly as possible.
Is my payment secure? I feel uneasy about providing my credit card details.
We chose to integrate our site with ANZ's eGate payment gateway system, so we never even see
your credit card details. Honestly, we don't want the risk either, so as soon as you log in to pay,
we redirect you to ANZ's payment gateway portal, you actually pay ANZ, and then they pay us.
We feel this is a much better solution than asking you to trust us, or indeed needing to build
systems that are secure enough to handle credit card information.
What happens if I don’t pay for my repair?
Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to hold your repaired product indefinitely. If your
iPhone or iPod remains unpaid for 60 days after the payment request is sent, we will deem it
abandoned and recycle it in line with industry best practice.
