Fixpod initially repaired the full range of iPods and iPhones – at the time 16 devices – and an average of a dozen repairs for each device, including offering quotes for anything not listed, making a total of over 200 discrete repairs.

Sometimes we wouldn’t see a particular repair for months, and then the techs in the shop would be left scratching their head trying to remember how exactly to fix an iPod Mini 2nd generation sync assembly, and crossing their fingers hoping we had some in stock…

So we decided to cut down the repairs to just the most common, and the ones where we were confident they’d go out looking perfect, working perfectly, and at a decent price.

But have we gone too far?
